About Us
Our family-owned countertop company was founded in 1972 by Carl Whinnery and is still running strong by his oldest son Rich Whinnery. We supply the residents and contractors of the Puget Sound area with personal care along with a quality installation of either solid surface, quartz, natural stone or laminate products. Lakewood Countertops is also a proud retailer of locally sourced cabinetry with our own in house designer! We are open Saturdays and Sundays by appointment only.

From my first call through final installation, everyone was fantastic and they met our tight deadline. These guys will be our go-to for all future projects.

If perfection is what you are looking for you found the right place. We hired Lakewood Countertops to do a Corian tub surround with very interictal wall pockets and multiple spouts and valves holes.
Pricing is very competitive. We picked an "In stock" color pattern they keep on hand. We visited the showroom to see the actual samples. This helped speed up the process as it takes many steps to get it done. I received a written estimate right away with options, the tech doing the onsite measuring was polite, on time and communicated very well. The installers also were on time and did a great job, very respectful in our home. I am very pleased with the outcome.
